Hi friends! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. In the past month and a half I moved out of a bad living situation, had two conventions including a road trip, sorted out my taxes, and have been trying to clear out my schedule and make more art again. The last 3 quarters of last year and into this year were largely unproductive on the art front. Between trying to run a business on my own and constant distractions, many of you probably noticed the lack of new art I’ve created aside from charm designs, including whole months without a post. I had a lot of issues outside of my control and fell in and out of depression several times. I don’t really like talking about these things because I generally like to stay positive here, but I’m trying to be more open. In any case I’m currently in a temporary living situation but things are on the up and up and I’m doing a lot better now. I finally finished this painting of Odawara Castle from a photo I took in Japan a year and a half ago!
