I wanted to ask, have you got a favourite bird? Or several favourites, maybe?

OHHHH what an ask. I am fond of a great number of birds and my favorites list absolutely shifts over time, so let me give ya a handful of the current ones that are on my mind at the moment! :D

Steller's Jay- just an absolutely gorgeous jay. A rare treat to see in my area, just delightful

Turkey Vulture- I LOVE these guys. honestly one of my favorite vultures. Simultaneously elegant, adorable, and metal.

Loggerhead Shrike- Shrikes are also known as butcherbirds, due to their habit of impaling prey items from insects to even other birds on sharp spikes. They are tiny and so cool (and due to their association with a certain blorbo-related song, they are on my mind a lot these days)

There's like. a bajillion more birds i could talk about all day, but I don't have all the time in the world sadly u_u but i hope this was nice :3

Do you like chickens? Do you believe in the mysterious theory that the chickens are bald and the egg rates are decreasing? Do you believe in Gertrude?

That is a very good question.

I do in fact like chickens. There are many breeds and colors that are interesting, such as the Lavender Orpington. I highly recommend that you check those out, and they are also excellent egg layers (allegedly).

I don't think chickens are bald, if you are referring to the fact that chickens are not covered in hair, which they are not, but feathers are similar enough to hair in makeup (keratin) and use that I do consider them functionally hair. However, it is possible for chickens to not have feathers on all or parts of their body, as there are several breeds that have those traits on purpose.

I am not sure of the egg rates decreasing. I suppose I will have to do further research on the topic.

If this Gertrude will give me something to believe in, then I may believe in her. For now she will remain as she is, a name.

That's just a simple ring my mom gifted me on Dhanteras some 2-3 years ago as I am “ghorer lokkhi” (Ghar ki Lakshmi)

I just loved that ring so much I didn't opened it lol.... 😭 Because I keep wearing everything that my family gifts me, like the nupur (payel) my father gave, or another ring my masi gave or the silver chain my another masi gave

Also that's not the only ring I wear on a daily basis, I wear some astrology rings too, just not at the current moment cuz my fingers were paining 😭

I just simply enjoy wearing jewellery. That's it.
