Dogday shrugs, his ear in Cherub's mouth.
"They were always a gremlin." He tries to move his baby away, only for them to bite. Luckily, the lack of teeth makes it hurt far less. "Age just displays different parts of their mischief, I think."

Now hear me out, solely based on a feeling I have and generally his behavior. I could see him doing the breakups but it’s mostly due to hangs up he has
Red’s gonna wanna make sure you’re safe and he’s aware that life with him opens up the possibility of shit simply not being safe. He lives in fear of you getting hurt because of him.
It’ll rip his soul but if he has to do it, he’d much rather rip his soul out than lose you because of the lifestyle and his work.
To Dogday:
How long did it take you to realize that Peanuts is basically a toddler in toy form? And that you’ve been beefing with essentially a baby?😂
Dogday’s shoulders lift up, and though his facial expressions are limited, there’s a slight pout to his scrunched eyes and sagged smile.
“I wasn’t. . . beefing with a baby.” He grumbles. “The minis are smart enough to be aware of what they’re doing. Peanuts may act innocent and impulsive, but he can recognize that I’m competition for Angel’s time and attention.”
He gives a huff.
“We’ve found a middle ground, at least. And he doesn’t gnaw on my arms while we all lay on the couch anymore.”
To Angel and Dogday:
How do you two get some alone time ( wink wink 😉) when you have a full house including other living toys and an AI?
Angel laughs, mostly because Dogday immediately sputters at the implications of the question. He tries to stammer out a response, but it’s not working so well, so Angel answers instead.
“We lock the doors and unplug the TV.” They provide. “Sure, the others are still noisy in the other rooms, but if we can get them distracted with something entertaining, we usually can manage and hour or so to make out.”
They wink, to Dogday’s horror.
“Angel!”
To Rambly:
How are you enjoying your second home with Angel and the other living toys? Do you get along with the mini smiling critters?
The TV glitches a bit as Rambly spins and jumps and cheers.
"Of course!" He exclaims, swinging side to side. "It's amazing here! There are so many new friends to talk to and to know, and sometimes, when Buddy- er, Angel leaves the house, I get to tag along on their phone! We made me my own Rambly App on there, and while I can't move as much, I can talk and see everything they show me! And they show me sooooo much! It's incredible!"
He jumps to the side, showing off a small slideshow of photos he has in his databases. All of them appear to picture him with all these new friends, from the minis to Dogday and Angel, to Poppy and Kissy and even Catnap.
"Catnap and Kissy and the littles aren't that talkative, but that just means they're really good listeners." Rambly continues, pleased as peaches. "And Poppy is so fun! She's a mascot of her own company too, you know? So we have a lot in common! And Dogday is so funny! He always acts so angry when I join his hangouts with Angel. It's a lark and a half!"
