Can we learn anything about Oddpetal and Birchtooth? I like their sprites they're very pretty :)
Sure thing!!! First, Oddpetal:
She's Maplepool and Mushroomsight's daughter, younger half-sister of Daybreeze, Moonsong, and Cloudshadow, younger sister to Echoheart, Deerleap, and Hollygaze, littermate of Spottedheart, Badgerpath, and Blackwing, and older sister of Leopardpurr and Eaglenest.
Oddpetal was born paralyzed due to Maplepool having a rough kitting, and was given the name Oddkit not because of her condition, but because of her "odd" tortie patterning (which isn't really weird in anyway, Maplepool just thought she was being creative when she named this litter after their appearances). She wasn't expected to make it to adulthood, and was weaker when she was a newborn kit. However, she got stronger when she got older and had a relatively normal kithood. Her paralysis never bothered her much.
She was more insecure as an apprentice, when she became more aware that she was different than the other cats her age. She was given the option to become a healer or retire, but she insisted on being a warrior and was apprenticed to Crowchirp. Crowchirp...Wasn't the best at mentoring. She treated Oddpaw like an able-bodied cat and put a lot of stress on her, which wasn't intentional but still ignorant. Oddpetal found herself bonding with Robinswipe, a warrior who was also paralyzed. Robinswipe showed her how to hunt and fight with her paralysis, and also showed her extra methods to navigate, clean herself, and check for any injuries in her back half she couldn't feel.
As a warrior Oddpetal doesn't do too much, especially nowadays. She has a more strict personality that she got from age, but isn't a mean cat by any means. She has a mate, Brookleaf, but no kits yet. She wouldn't mind being a mom. Her best friend in the clan is Cottonfoot. <3
Now, for Birchtooth:
Birchtooth is the son of Burnetgoose and Glintshade, and older brother to Mistlekit, Hopestar, and Gleamkestrel.
Birchtooth was born in a single litter, which was confusing, because his parents had been so sure they were having multiple kits. Turns out Birchtooth fused with his littermate in the womb and became one cat. Whoops. His kithood was relatively normal despite that fact, though some cats felt like he was two cats in one body sometimes.
He decided he wanted to become a medicine cat apprentice and was actually good at his job. Echoheart mentored him and turned him into a more confident cat. He was overjoyed when he found out his parents were expecting another litter, and was so happy when they gave birth to his little sister, Mistlekit. Birthtooth was VERY close to Mistlekit and loved her to death. Sadly, Mistlekit died at five moons to a drought that took the lives of many cats. Birchtooth was devastated.

Now, as a healer, Birchtooth is one of the most respected cats in the clan. He's very good at what he does, and always seems to know how to stay calm and level-headed....Until he gets stressed, angry, or sad. Then it's like he turns into a completely new cat. Welp.
He loves his siblings and his mate, Poolrose, very deeply. He doesn't have any kits yet but is hoping to have some with Poolrose someday. His best friend in the clan is Butterflywave. <3
