hello! we are officially implementing a members only discord feature-- well, a couple actually, and here's how they work!

THE CAP

the capitol's version of social media! inspired by "the slap" from victorious, capitol citizens and tributes can post statuses! people can create threads for comments.

standard format would look something like this:

in a netflix's "circle" like function, tributes can speak to a screen and have their words typed out to send to other tributes! (essentially texting without the typing, text to speech!) the discord category for this is the functioning group chat between tributes and capitol citizens. for 1x1 tributchats, please put them under your character's individual category in discord.

THE REAPING HAS COME AND GONE...

and tributes are now travelling at the speed of light towards panem's capitol alongside their mentors and escorts. your goodbyes have been said, and a new strange land awaits you. you will either face your death, or luxury you've never known.

the lead up to the games is several weeks long, filled with training, prepping, primping, and preening for the performance of a lifetime. tributes will be met in the capitol with an extravagant welcome party beyond their belief, anyone who is anyone will be there. the gala will take place at the presidential mansion, which tributes are required to attend immediately after meeting with-- and being dressed by, their stylist. attendance for everyone else is optional, however not going would be greatly frowned upon the games have begun, as this is your first personal introduction to the public eye. from this point forward for capitol citizens and tributes alike, everything is surveillance. either enjoy yourself or begin planning your path to victory. most important of all, may the odds be ever in your favor.

theoddshq is officially open for interactions! you may interact within the tribute center, on the train, or within the opening gala! as admins we ask that you don't jump the gun and interact with the training center or tribute parade just yet! however, there is plenty of time to explore the capitol and get acquainted with your surroundings. we understand this is a little different from the films/movies, but logistically this works best for our group. please make sure you're following everyone and have fun!
