I harvested my carrots yesterday. It was plentiful. The dogs loved them as a treat. They were a tasty for me too. This was my first year working with wicking containers. Also, it was my first successful year with carrots. However, the wicking containers were somewhat shallow. Therefore, the carrots grew wide instead of long. It made for some interesting shapes. So I did a Cliff Clavin and photographed them. The first one I photographed looks like a troll. The second one reminds me of the old trick where a person is pretending to make out with themselves.
