How would your perfect pinecest au look like? Like which tropes or themes would you like to see more often? 🌸
Hm, I'm not really one for GF aus, let alone pinecest ones, but there are a few things that I like.
I think the core thing for a perfect Pinecest au for me is keeping Marbles and Dipstick as twins (or at least related). So definitely the theme of shipcest and forbidden love.
As for tropes? Hm, I do really like the soulmate au, I think it would fit well with Pinecest. There are fics that have done them, but not enough imo. Plus, the idea of soulmates really fit with twins idk.
And maybe also more established relationship stuff? We get a lot of fics of the twins getting together (or getting broken up) but I want more fics where their relationship is actually shown in detail. Like, how do they keep things a secret? How do they make it work? How do they interact with the other? Stuff like that.
Maybe also more older twins. Like how is their relationship when they're middle aged? What if they only started dating when they were well into adulthood? How are they able to keep a secret relationship for so long? Does the relationship have negative effects on the twins?
And to be the opposite of that, what about kid twins? Like >12.
Also, also. I want more fics/aus focused on my girl Marbles! A lot of them have Dip as the MC, and I'm not saying that those are bad! But I feel like Marbles would be such an interesting character to see the pov from in a Pinecest story. And honestly in more stories in general, the girl's an interesting character
