Man, the bus sure was late. She'd never make it on time, at this rate! Not with them, please! If there was one thing she hated the most, was arriving late when she had an appointment, even more if with her friends.
She had planned this carefully, and still...
Yet, it was odd. This bus never got late before. Did it have some kind of problem? She couldn't guess it. Lately, there had been some strikes in the public services, but she confirmed it before, and this one wasn't one of them....at least, this time.
She looked again at her wrist, checking the time, ever so impatient, and hurried. Her nervousness was quite noticeable at this point.
The brunette looked around. No one in sight. At least, on foot. There were some cars and miscellaneous vehicles passing by, on the road, but no sign of any bus at all. Was it her mistake? She could only stress even more as the minutes fled by. Guess the alternative would have to be a taxi.
...Or so she thought until she received a call from one of them calling the meeting off. Most of them had contracted a flu during the end of the week, passing it over from one to another. And if going to such a place, it wasn't reasonable to go, with just two people there.
She nodded while hearing them. It was conprehendible. The weather was shitty, and to catch a flu was a matter of luck. Fortunately, she hadn't caught it yet. Though, even if understanding her friends' situations, she couldn't help but to feel a bit irritated as she had gotten up so earlier, and wouldn't have the chance to do whatever now. She had been looking forward to this so much...
(Do not piss yourself, Suzuna. It's not their fault. Let's call it another time.)
The young female finally turned around, and started walking towards the nearest caffe, with a mighty wish to drink something, to cool down, before reaching her house. It was some meters away, so she wouldn't have much of a problem, even with this cold weather.
Though, as she took a seat and finally had a sip of a juice, she almost choked in fury, when sighting the so wanted bus passing by, just in a matter of minutes.
Whatever. She wouldn't take it now.
Could this day get worse?
Finally, some time later, after paying for the beverage, she headed home. But, when finally prepared to open up her door, with her keys, sighted an unknown individual lurking around the same street, looking troubled and puzzled, probably lost. They also didn't seem from there.
The brunette was already quite tired from that earlier stress, but even so wouldn't deny help to others, so she just approached the person with a kind expression, offering her help.
" Hello. May I help you? Are you lost, miss/mr.?"
