Amarikwa, 30, is a 10-year MLS veteran who has accumulated 24 goals and 19 assists in 190 regular season games, including 91 starts. A substitute in all but one of his 14 league appearances for San Jose this season, he joins a Montreal side that sits fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.
“Quincy is an energetic striker with a lot of experience within MLS. He will be another experienced player who will add depth to our forward line,” Impact technical director Adam Braz said in a statement.
The 32-year-old Oduro joins a San Jose side that has earned a league-worst 16 points this season, but should see more of the field than he did in five substitute’s appearances for Montreal. The Quakes are Oduro’s eighth MLS team, the most of any player in league history.

Oduro ranks top-40 in Major League Soccer history in games played (341, 14th), shots (496, 25th) and goals scored (63, 36th). He is one of 28 players in league history to record more than 60 goals (63) and thirty assists (32) in his career. Quakes forwards Chris Wondolowski (140 – 1st) and Oduro (63 – 9th) are two of the 10 highest-scoring active MLS players.
Oduro played four seasons with the Impact, registering 15 goals and six assists in 89 regular season games, including 57 starts. He notably helped the Impact reach the Concacaf Champions League final in 2015, and the MLS Cup Eastern Conference Championship in 2016.
“We look forward to welcoming Dominic to San Jose,” Earthquakes general manager Jesse Fioranelli said in a statement. “He’s a proven MLS veteran that has pace and a solid record in terms of scoring and assisting goals.”
