I laugh loudly and my body bursts with light,

shimmers of olive, pink, brown and white.

I clutch my chest, and twirl my dress;

sparkles fly and cover the sky.

But suddenly—the stars fade to rain,

and the clouds cave in.

They tell me that the light is not real,

and the colors are nothing but a faded hue.

My life turns grey, and my head hangs low,

but there is light in my reflection in the pool.

I have been tricked.

My skin is my skin and the sky is the sky,

there is nothing else like it,

and I feel so…sparkly.

imagine Garnet giving Paps future vision so that she’s got real time vision and experiencing the wonder of real time but then as the future vision is about to fade and garnet needs to top her up but she just goes ‘no i don’t mind experiencing the world at a different rate to everyone else cause i’m me and i’m special’ and everyone is happy because she doesn’t need to be fixed the end
