Sansa never got used to the warmth of King's Landing.
She thought she would love it. She was so excited to move here, far away from the cold of Winterfell and into the belly of excitement. She'd heard stories many times over of what all the ladies here did with their time, how they were happy and carefree.
Yet here she was, hands folded over the banister railing as she stared out over the many buildings below, a gentle breeze stirring her pale pink dress and blowing back her perfectly twisted red locks. She wondered what it was like to live a simple life. One where she could marry for love, sew pretty dresses and sell them to ladies and live freely, unbeknownst to all the goings-on of the royal family.
Young Sansa couldn't wait to marry a prince and live a queen's life. She thought it was the way to go if she wanted to do whatever she pleased, drink wine, and be a perfect little lady. Now she only wished to be happy.
A knock on her bedroom door served as a summons back into reality, and she started a bit, blinking away the daydreams.
"Yes, enter," she called as she turned to face the doors, smoothing her dress in the front so not a wrinkle was in sight.

Don't give into the power of the ring
Mom just finished the first book from A Song of Ice and Fire.
Me: So mom how was the book?
Mom: It was great, but they killed Lord Stark.
Me: Yeah they did.
Mom: I didn't like that, I wanted them (Stark family) to live happily ever after. All of them.
Oh mom, if you only knew what happens next to the Stark family.
