“  you  sound  like  my  mom,  ”  she  rolls  her  eyes  playfully.  she’s  had  the  answer  figured  out  since  she  was  in  middle  school  –  when  her  parents  started  asking  her.            “  i’m  going  to  get  a  bachelor  in  business  management  ,  then  a  master’s  in  business  administration  and  go  from  there.  probably  shoot  for  ceo  of  a  company  and  then  retire  at  thirty-five  with  billions  in  my  pocket.  ”  a  tentative  pause  ,  her  smile  faltering  when  she  realizes  the  words  of  her  script.          “  though  ,  i  guess  i  don’t  know  anymore.  i  was  supposed  to  be  out  of  here  by  now.  ”
