Sam was annoyed, to say the least. He hated hospitals - he'd lost too many people not to hate them. His Dad, Bobby, and Dean (technically) had all died in hospitals. Sam would have been perfectly happy to never have seen one again.

But that wasn't really an option. Something was wrong with him - he wasn't sure what. But he was coughing up blood and his chest hurt all the time. That, clearly, was not a good sign.

So, here he was, waiting for the doctor to come in, tell him to take some meds, and then go home.

Another thing he hated about hospitals. They made you wait around forever.
