there are absolutely times when a director can't get through to an actor, but being like, "because i didn't see a ~look~ in your eyes we're going to just stop rehearsal" for a theater production that's presumably on a proscenium stage in a space large enough that only the first couple rows can see the actor's eyes in detail is such poor directing i can't

I know I went into this show knowing JackDean were a toxic relationship, I know not wanting to leave despite EVERYTHING is a standard for toxic relationships, but still....

I wish Dean had chosen Gameplay. I wish this show made a point about choosing the ones who love us.
