fine one more for today i should probably pace myself more or else itll be like every other time i try a new site or join a new discord server where i interact once and then disappear for like a month but i wanna keep going (not that anyone's even here yet anyway ahaehjhfsdkf)

anyway here's a look into some revised art for my upcoming massive revamp of my crossover Something Seems Off! it's between off and tf2 and every chapter title is a pun or a reference im not sorry

i don't recommend reading it now because of the aforementioned revamp- nothing is really gonna get removed (other than old sucky art) as the writing still holds up well but i am going back and adding a lot more details and little moments to make the pacing better so it'll probably be best to read after that, hence why i am not linking it. not like it's too hard to find but yeah anyway enjoy!

grins ok. He's a normal ass old man and i love him so much.

doomsday prepper war veteran, "you kids" type guy, not as vitriolic or snappy as in canon off (mainly just. Tired). he's fully prepared for the visitor but is still so paranoid that even though he's equipped to just wait out the events of the game, he still explores a bit "just in case" and ends up meeting sam. hes like mr henderson 2 if mr henderson tried Soooo Hard to be niceys. speaking of mr henderson. the two of them have a sliiight rivalry over being The Cool Gun Guy

in the bad/weird route (batter corrupts sam as opposed to sam redeeming batter) its possible to scare dedan so much through dialogue options that he thinks that sam and batter are cursed, initiating a battle (think bad batter) with him. said battle can go two ways: kill him, or (again through dialogue options) calm him down enough that he stops the battle. Once befriended, he doesnt follow the party around, but if you're near his apartment during a battle there's a large chance he will show up and help.

he's in his early sixties but acts older than that... he tries to be hip and cool around the kids (joel, bus kids, rat child, etc) and Actually Suceeds ("wow sam can we go see the guy with the gun! ! Please? he's cool!") somehow
