The hilarious thing about Jinchul and Jinwoo being cops in the new timeline is that they're still both corrupt as hell, but in a way that's generally beneficial for the public. Jinwoo has his shadows threatening violent criminals with painful death if they don't turn themselves in after 24 hours. Jinwoo is a nepo baby - Jinchul's nepo baby; Jinchul constantly puts Jinwoo on vacation or some kind of leave anytime he has to go off to protect the planet. Jinwoo always drags a bunch of crooks back behind him chained like they're being sent to the mines when he comes back.
No one ever fucking questions this. Ever. At least on screen.
And then Jinwoo has to leave longterm and mana and Gates are back and Jinchul's response is to IMMEDIATELY blackmail every single politician for the support to get the KHA up off the ground. He threatens them and theor families. In the light novel at least. Not sure about the manwha. The KHA being the first established hunter's association is a plot point of importance, before the UN establishes any kind of global order to how national hunter's associations are to be run. There's a rule that states HA's can't accept monetary support from businesses and shit, but the KHA existed before all of that and isn't subject to the following UN decrees because of that and Yoo Jinho funds the KHA directly out of Ahjin's coffers.
