And thank you for asking, I've been doing alright. I finally made the rather big decision to move back to Europe this summer, hoping to get some time to rest and decompress before launching into whatever my next adventure will be.

One thing I desperately want to do is finally get some consistent writing done. The plot for part 2 is outlined and some scenes are plotted in detail, but I'm not as far along as I would have liked.

For Off-Balance, I actually worked through quite a few things that were happening in my life at the time, so I imagine Steady-State (and some distance) helping me process the feeling of being thrust into a foreign society, sometimes marveling at things, sometimes being horrified in equal measure. It's been a wild 2 years...

Before I get fully off track: I'd be happy to accept your offer as beta reader, I'll send you a DM. It might be outlines and bouncing ideas for a bit yet, but I will write this.

Alfred is the best part of this show, hands down.

Talia Al Ghul, the only woman besides Catwoman that Batman ever loved... And the only woman this show screwed over more.

Coming from R'as, that's a little hypocritical.

I keep expecting Vertigo to say 'Heil Hitler' or something. At least back when this episode was made, we could all agree Nazis were bad...
