I kind of hate how Riot seems to be killing some off meta picks like Soraka top. I don't play it, but I enjoy seeing off-meta picks do well.

I’m so tempted to make a blog for tips on Overwatch characters like Symmetra, Torbjorn, etc.
I’m sick and tired of wanting to find an in-depth guide on tactics, positioning, etc. And all I get are videos of people who obviously don’t play the character and don’t know what the fuck they are talking about… Or it’s just gameplay footage with no tips, explanations on plays, etc.
I wanted to try a few off-meta supports, but I still picked champs that could slow, stun, or root. I tried out Ashe in a normal game. I warded the most, I kept my Twitch alive via my summoner spell heal and kept the enemy away from my ADC with slows and stunned them with my ult when we were engaging. My ADC didn't like that I was trying Ashe support, ignored all that I did, and continued to walk in to get killed despite me just saving them. I just wanted to try something new...

Today I had a Faceless complaining about my off-meta build in ARAM. Buddy, you may have joined the wrong house if an AS/Crit Pyke upsets you so much.

I live for off-meta builds and picks. But people are always so upset and whiny about it, even in Normal Draft. But as soon as some random pro players start doing it, it's completely fine and you're just copying them? Yeah, of course.

I kinda love when people in Normals are skeptical about your off-meta pick and they'll say things like: "Don't troll ok" or "I'll report you if you feed". In-game you continue to do just fantastic but the guy who complained is playing very poorly. It happened a few times now and it was always the same - if someone complained in champ select, they were the ones who fed in the end. How about you take care of your own performance instead of worrying about other's?
Off meta picks are fine… But a Kha'six top, Singed mid, and Syndra/ Kayn bot probably won’t win you the game. Still, this was the most fun I've ever had playing League. Bless my friend who forced us to play this ‘off meta’ comp.

Why is it that pros can pick the most random shit at Worlds (!!), but when I pick something off-meta in my soloq games, I get flamed and yelled at by my whole team in champ select. I have a 80% winrate as top lane Taric in almost 100 games. Sometimes I wish there was an option where teammates would be able to see those stats so they would trust in you and not flame...
