POC gay female here. When Wells died I was ready to drop the show. I kept watching for Lexa. It's unfortunate that there's a trade off but yes, more people were watching for LGBT rep than POC. Blarks made it an "oppression battle" (1/2)

which really isn’t cool. But at the same time, they had more than enough time to speak out the way we are with LGBT and never did…I wonder why… But as a POC there were most def things I cringed at over the show and wouldn’t call it good rep

Yeah like I don’t think I ever saw anyone in the clexa fandom try to argue that POC had good rep in this show other than a small minority, and I’m sure the same applies for the blarkes. the fact that they tried to turn this into an oppression battle between LGBT people and POCs even there are LGBT POCs who exist is super sketchy. especially because they’ve never done anything to protest the treatment of POC on this show.

I agree. Can we stop pulling receipts on celebrities from years ago? We all evolve and change our opinions and become wiser in time, we all know how annoying it is when people bring up stuff we said/believed YEARS ago.
