6.] Let me say something else about the WORD.       It’s our sword & foundation [Ephesians 6:13-17].

Ephesians 6:13 | Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, & having done everything, to stand.

      The only offensive weapon mentioned here, is the sword of       the SPIRIT & it’s the WORD of GOD.

      Everything else is defensive.

      This is Hebrews 4:11-13

Hebrews 4:11-13 | Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.

      For the WORD of GOD is living & active.       Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces       even to dividing soul & spirit, joints & marrow.       It judges the thoughts & intentions of the heart.

      Nothing in all creation is hidden from GOD’s sight;       everything is uncovered & exposed before the       eyes of HIM to whom we must give account.

6a] So JESUS was in the wilderness for 40 days & nights, didn’t eat.

      Imagine how you would feel, 40 days without eating.       HE was emaciated, skin & bones; & at the end of 40 days       HE was attacked by the devil himself.

      And the devil attacked JESUS with lies & half truths.

      And JESUS defeated the devil, with no energy in HIS body,       saying: “It is written [taking up the sword of the SPIRIT]...”

      A 4yo that quotes the BIBLE is as powerful       as any preacher on earth.

      Because the power isn’t in us,       it is in GOD’s WORD.

      Quoting the WORD of GOD can vanquish the devil, because       the WORD of GOD doesn’t need our help.

      It has its own power.****

      This is the Sword of the SPIRIT.       It’s living, it’s active. If you read other books, the BIBLE reads you.

      And it says no creature can hide from its sight, because       when the BIBLE comes at you, it’s going to find every       demon in hell that’s trying to destroy your life. ****

      >> And it’s going to defeat the devil.

      This is powerful!
