I’m working in an office that is taking all the COVID-19 safety procedures they can and even has a COVID-19 Health and Safety department on staff. One of the things is, obviously, no physical contact.

So I’m getting all the social interaction my introverted self can handle, but I’m touch starved. Not to say I normally go around touching my coworkers but yesterday one of them was tired and frustrated and I reflexively offered a hug before remembering that was against the rules. That’s when it hit me how touch starved I am.

Being socially full but touch starved is a Brand New Feeling and *I do not like it.*

So I'm doing a pleading and I'm clashing pen with this lawyer who is so fucking good. Like LITERALLY good. My blood boils with the excitement of our correspondence (of course I'm not signing the paper I'm writing, BUT STILL).

Our exchange traverses three offices to date: 1 civil court, 1 provincial govt office and 1 sangguniang bayan office.

And by Jove am I feeling excited bec I chased his ass on the provincial govt setting and when he answered in the sanggunian, he cut out some of the words and cases he cited bec mthrfucker I knew I got him good there.

But Imma still chase his brilliant ass even if he did that bec the mouse has become a fckng bear and she is going after that cat.
