So, my boss was really insistent that he was gonna run an ethernet cord through the ceiling (after procrastinating about it for months). But then he realized the rooms are separate, so he'd have to drill a hole. But the drillbit he brought wasn't big enough so he has to bring a different size. He left all the ceiling tiles loosey goosey yesterday but while he was on hold decided to put the tiles back in place. So while on the phone, and while I'm working, suddenly a crash happens and the light fixture is now on the floor. Thankfully it didn't hurt anyone or anything, but now I have a gaping hole, one less light, and exposed wires until my boss brings the proper tools to fix this. 😥😥😥😥 I swear, my boss is TJ from Gilmore Girls.
