What actually happened in [REDACTED]'s dictation about Officer Jones and Smith
(Officer Smith was hugging Officer Jones for a selfie in the Murder Hotel)
Officer Jones: (drunk texting) "This hotel is AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend!!!"
Detective Chambers: (was on the phone calling REDACTED) What the hell?! I sent them to investigate, but came there DRUNK?!
[REDACTED]: These two are my favorite cops! They are very funny and willing to stay, so I'm very certain that they won't return in a bit.
i wanted to collect every moment where smitty is audible and/or visible and this is the result. Yes it took me four days to do this and no he doesn’t deserve my love but i did it anyway
edit: a much shorter 5.6x speed version of this is also on my twitter if you're interested in that. everyone sounds extremely squeaky
A man who was allegedly threatening tourists with a gun was shot multiple times after he became engaged in a firefight with a Hot Springs police officer.
He messed with the wrong cops.
Least forget officer Smith He had maybe 10 seconds of screen time And I love him
It is with a heavy heart that the Columbus Division of Police reports the passing of our dearly beloved brother, Officer Steven M. Smith #1386. 3. Anonymous Love Letters
Eresh finds the letter sitting innocuously enough at his feet, as if the person had been too embarrassed to just side it under the door like most news letters on base were distributed. Then again Eresh would have looked that over if that were the case so they were kind of lucky in that cold nerves only pushed them to take it this far. He knelt down to pick it up, noting his name written on the front in sparkly pink ink and with extra curls.
"Eresh, what you got?" Musyona asked, the girl coming up to peer over his arm at the envelope he was holding.
"A letter."
"A love letter?"
"Maybe?" Eresh opened it, pulling the paper out and reading it. Each line his face got progressively redder and redder before he hastily crammed it back in.
"Eresh?" Musyona tugged at his sleeve. "Let me read, let me read! Who's it from anyways?"
"N-no one, I dunno it was anonymous and--" that letter didn't need to see the general public at all, let alone Musyona. That said Eresh hastily stuck his key into his room's lock and rushed inside, leaving Musyona outside. She sighed, turning her head to look down the hall where Aiar quickly made his presence scarce.
"You suck at confessing."
7. Stuck someplace together in winter
"It could be worse!" Smith patted Rumo on the shoulder, leaning over with a grin. "We could be in Snowpoint during the height of winter!"
"Don't remind me," Rumo sighed. The only benefit was that he and Smith got to their hotel before the snow had started falling enough to trap people inside for the evening. Hotel service had brought them everything they needed, and Smith's Arcanine was out and snoozing to provide extra heat.
"Think of it this way," Smith took a seat across from him at the small table in their suits, "It's like camping--except with all luxuries--"
The electricity went out.
"Camping with most luxuries!"
"Thanks for trying, Smith."
At least he was stuck with her.
9. Matching Soulmate Markings
Hubert was rubbing the back of his neck again, irritated scratching that made Bedelle reach over and smack his hand away. "It won't go away the more you do that," she said, writing something else down in her log book. "In fact it will only irritate the skin."
"Tch, yeah," and Hubert took an angry sip from his coffee. Mercy was curled at his feet, the husky quietly snoozing and oblivious to her owner's agitation. "Bedelle," Hubert said, "how faded is it?" Bedelle leaned back in her chair to peek at the back of Hubert's neck.
"Mmm, pretty faded," she answered. "It must be tough, fighting your intended."
"I suffered worse," a sigh. "If only I could save Eisen back then."
"Not your fault he felt betrayed, Hubert."
But Bedelle knew that Hubert thought everything was his fault.
10. Stranded on a Deserted Islan
"Of course you would get us into this mess," Mikaelis was seething, sitting hunched over on the beach line and staring off over the ocean. "We can't even fit on the island!"
"You three can't I'm perfectly fine," and Cery was, resting in the water of the shore and soaking in everything the water had to offer.
"But it's with you three I can't stand, yeesh," Fortemi leaned back and accidentally knocked her head against Urdma's back plates. There were some mumbled apologies but not much.
"Cerys, can't you freeze the water for us to walk back?"
"What direction? And can't you fly off anyways?"
"...what direction."
And therein was the problem.
"What direction," Mikaelis groaned. They could only hope their coordinates could be found by Camille and Gene wherever their two human companions were at.
