That's the stupidest rebuttal I'd heard all day. You are entitled to your opinion about the matter, and if it was so STUPID why didn't you have anything to type about it? Anyone can say something is stupid, if you really felt passionate about you would have had something to say.

You maybe be an advocate for cows- But what about spiders? You're more than happy to flush them down the loo or shoot them, or at least the prospect of it. Some says 'Yay milk!' and all you've got to say is the equivalent of  'LOL u dumb'.

What's the difference between a cows life and welfare, and a spiders? If you feel so strongly about it, I'd had thought you would find equal value in a spider seeing as the planet benefits more from them, more so than a domesticated bovine.
