when i started shipping it: i’ve pretty much shipped it since i first read through homestuck but i’ve gotten more and more invested in it over time

my thoughts: this is such a great ship i’m ashamed that i’m not even more into it bUT ON THE OTHER HAND MAYBE IF IT HAD LASTED MORE THAN TEN PAGES HMMMMM

what makes me happy about them: canon creepy abusive quadrant-flippy relationship where a dude flings isms at a lady and takes her for granted so she punches him? yes let me have it

what makes me sad about them: hmm maybe the fact that they GOT NO CLOSURE??!?!there’s a collection of pages that focuses on them completely and after that they’re just never addressed again even though it’s canon Ha Ha HA

things done in fanfic that annoys me: i know he’s incredibly infatuated with her but it’s so embarrassing when people play it too straight and don’t even acknowledge that he’s being fucking ridiculous. one too many descriptions of how lovely she is how perfect and beautiful, without it being made obvious that his opinion is not necessarily the author’s? and i’m out.

things i look for in fanfic: hahahaha i mean i ship this red but that doesn’t mean i don’t want him to flinch at the sound of her voice. the more awful she is to him, the better. and he’s into it, yes, but that doesn’t mean he’s up for it because jfc does anyone have the faculties to handle robo aradia, didn’t think so,

who i’d be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: red? wow i have no idea. aradia and tavros i gueeeEEEess but i like that better pale; sorry but i don’t have any other red equius ships, only a shitload of ill-advised moirallegiances for him :’)

my happily ever after for them: she manages to tame his racism just enough for him to embarrass her at parties, instead of her refusing to take him at all

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: shopping. for her, i mean, never him. every time, without fail, he has a single bag to return to ross or walmart or osh and she dances around the aisles distractedly and rolls her eyes
