Triss observed the couple, finding it perhaps a little strange, but ultimately to see her sister sorceress so happy. And Lambert was less… Lambert now, she almost could tolerate his presence without sparks manifesting at her fingertips. She’d certainly never expected for the pair to get together, but if Keria was happy…
“Keira’s a talented sorceress and a master of glamours…but I do not think even she’s capable of casting a spell to make Lambert less of an ass. Wouldn’t that be an incantation…so many uses. Think it would work on Vernon?” The sorceress cast Ves a sly look, nudging her gently with her elbow. Triss was astounded as everyone else for Lambert to suddenly be an almost pleasant person to be around.
Her concerns was more with Eskel, quiet and sweet Eskel, than with Lambert and Keira.
Lambert was a prick. She’d known him for less than a day now but of that, she had no doubt. Everything that came out of the bastard’s mouth made her want to punch him in the face, and none of it had even been directed at her. The sorceress seemed to have softened him, somehow. So if it wasn’t a spell, it must have been ... love? For fuck’s sake, if that’s what love was, then she wasn’t interested.
Ves did not return Triss’s sly smile, but considered her words for a moment as her eyes flitted over to the corner of the room where Roche sat alone, drinking and shooting murderous looks across the room at Letho.
“Nah, Roche isn’t a dick. He’s just ... a bit intense.”
But Triss didn’t seem to be listening anymore -- her attention had turned elsewhere. Ves followed the sorceress’s gaze across the room toward the quiet witcher with the scarred face.
“Shit, Triss. What is it with you sorceresses and witchers?”
