OFMD Aro/Ace Week 2025! (March 23-29)

Hey everyone, I'm running the (March 23-29) 2025 Aro Ace Week, and I don't have plans to make a Tumblr account (as well as the others, we decided not to), but we are on Twt (https://x.com/ofmdaroaceweek) and Bluesky (https://bsky.app/profile/ofmdaroaceweek.bsky.social)

OFMD Aro/Ace Week is all about celebrating the aro- and ace-spec experience within OFMD and the OFMD fandom and it produced some great works last year! We're super excited for it again! (I'm personally super fucking pumped and have my own fic plans that I'm beyond excited for.)

🇵🇸 OFMD Gotcha for Gaza Fundraiser 🇵🇸

Welcome to the OFMD Gotcha for Gaza Fundraiser!

This is a fundraising event to raise money for the people of Gaza in exchange for Our Flag Means Death fanworks. This event is not officially associated with Our Flag Means Death - it's a fan-run project and made possible by volunteer fan creators.

How it works:

Artists and writers can sign up as volunteers to fill prompts submitted by donors. Donors can submit prompts after showing proof of donation (at least $4USD for SFW and $8USD for NSFW art/fics) via screenshots.

Timeline:

Artist/Writer Sign-Ups: June 17 - July 8 Donation Period: July 9 - August 9

We raised $1,957.03 for Gaza!

An OFMD Spooky Season Event!

I had a lot of fun hosting my little Happiness Happens event in August, so I decided to do another cute one for October: Somethin' Witchy Afoot!

I've made a fluffy, spooky prompt generator for it!

And just like Happiness Happiness, this will be mega-low-key. Just post when you can in October - the entire point is to have fun and to cheer each other!

As far as I know there's no official OFMD Aro Ace Week account on Tumblr (yet?), but I thought I'd share the prompts here anyway in case anyone is interested:

It will be a week long fan event in January 2024 for creating and sharing fic and art that celebrates any and all identities under the asexual and aromantic umbrellas.

Each day has two sets of prompts to pick from: one for creating new works (creation prompts) and the other for sharing pre-existing works (share your faves). The prompts can be used in any combination. All interpretations and all mediums of art are welcome.
