I haven't seen that many people talk about this but I just wanted to point this out: they have Chinese pirates in the second season of ofmd!!! I'm really happy that the show runners have added this to the show, because most mainstream depictions of pirates are just white European men; the shows skip over the whole entire era of Chinese piracy in the 18th and 19th centuries.

I'm so excited to see what the show has in store for the new character Susan!! She looks soooo cool

ngl yall, not to drag Stede's voice acting abilities down or anything, but I'd listen to Zheng's silky smooth voice tell me Pinnochio's story 300 hundred times over nonstop 5ever and ever until i wilted away like a dead flower and perished. if she narrated a fucking dictonary i think i'd just evaporate immediately. if I was a pirate and she raided my ship I'd beg for her to throw me in the dungeons just so i could sneak away like a rat and hear her say stuff. I need to hear her say "bumfluzzed".
