A secret (or secrets) that Deidara is keeping from Sasori?

Aside all of the bickering and nit-picking the pair mutually do, Deidara truely holds an affection and admiration for Sasori.

He respects him as a fellow artist (even if he doesn’t agree with or understand Sasori’s art form) as a partner, and as a mentor.

These are not secrets, they’re known, however, this fondness’ roots grow deeper than just a work-related respect.

Deidara’s admiration could certainly be described as romantic in nature, but due to the 16-year age gap and Sasori’s cold and distant nature, Deidara wouldn’t dare confess to his crush on the red headed puppeteer out of the fear of being rejected.

Even though Deidara doesn’t care about the opinions most others have of him, he does care about Sasori’s opinion of him, even if he doesn’t act like Sasori’s opinion of him is of much importance.

It actually hurts how he disregards his art for not being eternal.

kankurō leaned into the embrace. his hands stopped fiddling with his new toy for a moment to embrace his father as well. he reached again for his new toy –– no –– the newest member of their family, bringing his face up to theirs.

kankurō’s eyes grew wide. his father called him ‘ son ’ and for a moment, he has to resist the urge to reach out and embrace him. with a happy color tainting his cheeks, kankurō nodded. he looked down at his wooden fingers (which his father convinced him to get ) and he looked at the wooden family he now had, thanks to sasori. 

❝ i trust you, father. ❞ he said, standing up to move closer to the man, cuddling into his side.

kankurō flinched at the bone thrown his way, still catching it between his small hands. it’s been a few days since he’s last eaten but he didn’t dare to question his father master. they were traveling to a new place and stopping just to fill the boy up was not worth his time. 

still, he pulled the bone to his lips, sucking for any lingering flavor left. it was dry, dryer than the desert they were walking through. still, he did not complain.

the sky was completely black when sasori came to get him. their training was done for the day and kankurō didn’t expect to see his master again until the morning. however, kankurō felt a presence hovering over him. it felt familiar but also distant. he turned in his bed to face the window only to meet eyes with sasori himself. the look in his eyes held something unknowable but urgent. 

kankurō hopped to his feet, knowing how much his master hated to be kept waiting. he grabbed his trainer puppet and strapped it to his back. he expected to get directions on a training technique, as were their usual sessions. but this time, he only received two words:

it wasn’t a question. it was a demand and it wasn’t negotiable. wherever sasori was going, he expected kankurō to follow. he took a step back.

Pet peeves?

Oh boy. Here I go....

- When I feel like I’d be listened to better and taken more seriously by society if I was male. I feel like I’m still like, 10.

-When my grandfather, who is a JEWISH IMMIGRANT, WHO MARRIED A MEXICAN WOMAN, posts crap on FB about how great trump is and how he’s gonna build the wall.... Bish, you ARE the immigrant and if it weren’t for being an immigrant, you would have been gassed by Nazi Germany. Ain’t nothing wrong with being an immigrant smh.

- going 0.09 seconds without coffee in the morning

- sweet beverages... I love sweet pastries and ice cream.... I love dessert, but I hate sweet tea and coffee... ugh

- American cheese and hot dogs are gross.... so is relish... eweweewewww

-Goth girls being fetishised, thus resulting in me, a goth girl, feeling objectified - like I’m not seen as a person, like I’m just some anime Waifu. I’ll add to this issue I have.... 

- Those weird pro-gun dudes who like... seem like they’re trying to be extra Hardcore^tm just to get me to be their goth GF

-Creepy old men on Facebook tryna message me... like dude, you’re 50-something. I’m barely 19. LEAVE.

- when guys on instagram thirst follow me ... once I had this creepy dude spam texts with me... telling me that if he was dead, i’d be his girlfriend ew,.. ugh smh 

-Feeling like the odd man out, though, I guess it’s always been this way since I was a kid. 

- Feeling like a second choice

- On the contrary - clingy people, like this chick from HS who followed me around then yelled at me when she was in the video I had to film for Psychology class... ughhhh, then Don’t Follow Me Around, Isha! God!

- Weirdly enough, this doesn't go for online interaction, but when I want time to myself and that’s interrupted. It’s nothing against anyone, I just need a lot of alone time to recharge. I’m sure introverts relate.
