“so i have a day off coming up here soon. as in -- i won’t be on call and i don’t have any surgeries or check ups scheduled.” which was a rare occasion to happen for carson. it was always a joke that he tended to run around like a chicken who had lost his head. he can’t help the smile that stays on his features as he looks at the girl. “i know twenty-four hours probably isn’t enough time to make up for the past few weeks of working overtime. but i can try my hardest to make you happy on that day. so, anything that you want to do on that day -- just let me know. write out a note or something and give it to me and i can get to planning.”
