It's not ableist, at all. There's no excuse for being a dick and using an illness to get out of the trouble you should be in. That's what is wrong with a lot of people, theyget away with being a dick just because they'll pull the "i have a mental illness" Card. YEAH PRETTY MUCH THIS TBH. I mean I get my depressive swings and snap at people, but I try to make a point to apologize for it, not make excuses. And if people KNOW you and know you’re not normally like that, I find that they’re far more understanding and forgiving, even if they feel hurt for a little while.
