So we finally get a view of the matching photos that Boston and Mew have in Mew’s Apartment. Characters have gone and picked up the photo frame or looked at it a couple of times. Top has looked at it at least 3 times and Ray picked it up before his apology to Mew. But it’s been out of the camera frame everytime except the opening until now. Still don’t know why Boston and Mew have these matching photos & frame but I find it interesting when we do see it episode 7. The episode where Mew basically blackmails Boston back into being part of their friend group. If Mew wanted to punish him take him out of his life that would be possible. It’s not like Ton’s contribution to their group project was significant most of the work was done by Nick CCTV and website. Mew apparently has a way of direct contact with Nick so doesn’t seem like ton is necessary. But no he goes over threatens Boston then keeps a copy of the video on his phone so that Mew can be “friends” with Boston still while holding the clip over his head for future mistakes to feel superior over Boston. Mew likes having Boston around to buffer or hand off Ray to and to compare how good Mew is.

I also think Boston did value their friendship to some extent be it out of connivence or just having people who are permanent fixtures in his life. I lean towards the second one since he kept saying he didn’t hate Mew. Also I don’t think I’d take a photo with friends of connivence then put them at the end of my bed to see everyday. So low key having an in again is what Boston wanted it’s why he went to visit Ray at his home when he found out that his arm was broken.

Idk probably means nothing but thought I’d share.
