Kazia was lying on her bed, her dog resting over the carpet but always being close to her and Peter was pacing around the room. Gosh, he once again wastoo slow to get to her and she had been injured, very badly injured. He could’ve had stopped it but he was too late and his girlfriend was on the receiving end of a huge blast.

Peter went and sat next to her on the bed, “I’m so sorry, I should’ve been faster and I just… I just couldn’t get to you on time.” He told her and grabbed her hands. “I’m so sorry.”

“Hey. Hey, Peter. Pietro. S’okay. M’- m’ okay.” She reached out to him as he sat down. “It’s okay.” She brushed her thumbs across his knuckles, holding his hands gently. Kazia softly murmured trying to help him relax, “I’m okay.  You, you got me before anythin’ too bad happened. M’ still here ‘cause of you. You did get ta me. I still trust you. You still saved me.” If Kazia were to move even a little from where she’s at she’d be in intense pain, and she knew so. But the urge to pull her boyfriend close was strong “C’mere. Sweetie, c’mere. M’ fine. You won’ hurt me.”

School’s out

It was still warm at the end of August but the leaves already began to fall rather quickly. It felt kinda weird and the air was moist and heavy but Logan didn’t mind that so mch. It reminded him of his home in Canada. All in all, the day had been pretty relaxed, except for a little stress, that Xavier had caused him earlier because one of his students didn’t show up to lesson.  He was supposed to look for him but he had already given up looking for the fast kid a long time ago.  In the process of thinking about him, he noticed a person sitting under one of the now more yellowish trees, looking out onto the lake with the knees draped up to their chest. Could it be...? Yes! Upon walking closer, Logan made out that it actually was the missing student who was sitting there all by himself, staring holes into the air. “Pretty, innit?” the teacher asked when he arrived and sat down next to him into the grass. “You okay kid?” @oftwinkies

Kazia let out a very forced laugh. Everything was starting to become ridiculous. She can’t do this anymore. Kaz can’t just sit here while he plays her like a fool. He keeps lying and lying to her- and she can’t do this.

He made a comment and it stung. They argued sure but he’s made sure to keep his tongue in check. But that comment? That was low. Tearful, hurt, and angry Kaz snapped. “There are times when I just want to break down and cry, and usually, you’re the cause of it.” She stepped back away from the super. “Now get out. Get out! I’m done with this!”
