there was no doubt that he was foreign to her city but that didn't matter, strangers were always welcome as long as they held no ill intent.
"That .... -" she inhaled, meeting his ruby gaze. "that pirate just robbed an old woman." Eyes narrowed as she turned to look at the cornered man.
Up until now she had never needed to draw her blade but this was a situation that absolutely called for it.
Of course, even with a weapon the Princess had no intention of hurting him - all she wanted was to retrieve what had been stolen.
