“Who are you exactly?”
@ofwclls cont
“Well pardon me for thinking my former employer would be able to handle himself,” he sneered. “Then again, I suppose you’re really not him.” He huffed, trying to pull his thin sweater more tightly around himself. He knew it was petty to bring up- completely unnecessary, really- but he was stressed, cold, and frankly? Frightened about what a night in the middle of the woods would hold for him.
He wasn’t like the other boy scouts on Team Flash- he didn’t have parents that took him out camping, or older brothers that showed him how to do things not taught in a classroom. He tried to stick to cities as often as possible- even limiting the amount of time he spent driving through them.
But this? This had been a trip he couldn’t avoid.
she tapped her foot nervously as she watched cisco make some final adjustments on the machine that would recreate the explosion from the particular accelerator. ❛ do you really think this will work? ❜ // for @ofwclls
@ofwclls is hurt!
❛ I told you left! LEFT! ❜
Barry flinches as he’s yelled at. It seemed every time he neared the engineer it would end in yelling.
Of course, this time, it was hard to ignore the fact that the speedster was indeed at fault.
Typical.
‘He’s fine! He’s fine. Just a few bruised ribs. Nothing’s broken.’
Caitlin’s input doesn’t help. Instead the tech enthusiast is quick to leave the cortex and wander the hall, finding Caitlin’s new private office...
And laying in a small medbay bed is the grumpiest fifty year old man he world ever did see.
The sight of Harry’s face rips the joy of Cisco’s thoughts from his mind as he nears the bed, reaching the other’s side as he speaks gently.
❛ ...Harry? ❜

“I’m a cop. You’re a wanted dead person. Tell me who’s the crazy one based on that!?”
@ofwclls liked for a starter
Barry let out a laugh, running his fingers through his hair, and a rather disbelieving look on his face. “Seriously? I thought--” he let out another laugh, one more relaxed, and relieved. “I thought, like, I just had been over thinking the subject, sometimes I get so into my head space it’s a bit hard to stop.” He sighed, “So... everything’s fine? .... I thought I completely broken it.”

Barry tries to remain rather serious, but it clearly wasn’t going to work. Considering only a few moments later he’s laughing, with an amused grin on his lips. “Maybe, probably, or I’m just too energetic for my own good,” he shrugged. “Don’t worry, jeez, I was only mildly joking. I mean, I don’t know how you are with late night fun,” he quipped as he shrugged his shoulders. “But I am pretty comfortable here,” Barry wiggled, “It’s a nice chair, so I’ll probably just stay put.”

“Yes, excuse me. I hate to intrude, but you haven’t happened to have seen my wife, have you?” he questions as soon as he’s spotted the other person. The first person he’s seen so far.
“She’s about yea high,” he begins, gesturing as he tries to catch his breath after running around this place. Somehow STAR Labs never seemed as big on his Earth, perhaps because it was always full of people bustling about, even after the accelerator explosion.
“Long dark hair, blue eyes. Probably scowling? Does that sound familiar?”
It’s not the first time he’s lost his wife somewhere. She’s always had a tendency to wander off without letting him know where she’s going, usually because she simply forgets to do so. But wandering to a different universe? Well, that one is a first.
