omg no don't! if it's cool with your parents you're not a terrible kid at all!!! i mean, my parents have just always enforced that you never curse in front of your elders, or in general if you can avoid it because it's rude and disrespectful, so that's why it's like that for me. it's completely normal in other households though.
you're lucky though, i never got freebies. for anythinggggg. like if i got bad grades my parents just took everything away so i had no choice but to study.
