9. Do you write fanfiction, or have you in the past?
I wrote a fanfic-type thing with my friend once? We were in middle school and had this notebook we passed back and forth, and we wrote a pretty long and continuous story in it. Honestly, it was kind of like tumblr rp without .. tumblr, because we took turns, like a thread. It was a Doctor Who fanfic and since we were young, it was a self-insert, but it was really fun to write. I’m still very close with the girl I wrote it with to this day. She joined tumblr rp briefly in like 2013, but she didn’t stick around for very long.
18. What makes for a great roleplay partner in your opinion?
God, I honestly think it comes down to chemistry. Someone who can not only click with my muses, but with me. I have been blessed to meet wonderful people here, who will scream with me about ic and ooc things, and I think that’s what really makes me feel like I have found a great rp partner. Also, it helps when they understand I’m slow as molasses, which -- luckily -- I have not had too many issues with in all my years here.
2. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what do you like to listen to?
Sometimes I do? But it actually isn’t .. a common thing for me. If I do listen to music, I will throw on something that fits the vibe of the thread I’m doing, usually not lyric-wise, but tune-wise (?) so I can kinda get more into it emotionally. When I’m listening to music while writing, though, it isn’t uncommon for me to turn it off pretty early on. Sometimes I can get really deep into my writing and don’t need anything in the background.
