pairing: sakura ogami x gn!reader

summary: sakura comforts you during the killing game...

“you're safe here in my arms.”

sakura had both of her arms wrapped around you, your face resting against her shoulder, eyes closed and body quivering. all the while, sakura's body was strong and still, like a rock you could lean on.

“i'll protect you. we'll both make it out of here alive. i promise.” sakura spoke calmly, her grip carefully tightening.

she would make sure that you survived this killing game. you were weak and fragile, unlike her. she knew people would come for you first. which is why she'd do anything in her power to protect you.

And so to the end.... as others have mentioned it did feel a bit rushed, trying to cram a lot into the last episode. We get the pov switch (classic japenese drama) and see how Ogami always wanted to protect, to help, but held back because he thought that is what Kano wanted. But also how Ogami really didn't understand the full truth of his own feelings until the end, when seeing a crying Kano he can't bear it and wants to cherish him.

I have watched two versions of this (viki and gaga) and they translate the words differently. One uses the word cherish and the other dote. They are similar but different. Cherish has a sense of worship and that, for me, makes more sense in the final scene, Ogami wants to worship Kano's body, to make him feel cherished.

The lack of episodes did make the final scene a bit jarring for me. The bit where Kano says no to Ogami and the latter says he's cute and continues can come across as a bit rapey.....I think thats the lack of time to build the dynamic. I don't think Kano hates it, he is just overwhelmed and this is all new. But there is no space to explore that.

Love the chocolate scene (but they should have shown it clearly) - because weren't we all waiting for it in the earlier episode?!

All in all so glad Kano got *his* Ogami...

Could you create a headcanon about how Shirou Ogami would react upon seeing the reader (who identifies as gender-neutral and is secretly in love with him) being kidnapped by humans who want to sell them as a laboratory test subject? Just like Michiru, the reader also possesses special powers. I’ve been waiting for the second season of BNA for almost three years now. 😢

And there he saw, the love of his life, you.

You stare at the silver wolf love in your eyes.
