some more headcanons bc i’m on a roll . SHISUI LIKES.

having his hair messed with.  provided it’s done by someone he’s okay with having at his back / nape / head,  it’s extremely relaxing && just ... makes him feel nurtured && cared for. it also gets him aroused,  but that’s hush hush.

sushi.   (  but it gives him the runs.  that’s not fun.  )   sushi is a cruel mistress.

sakura.   ... haruno sakura.   (  lbr.  )   it takes real effort not to say something along the lines of ---  “ love me a woman who can benchpress my ass / throw me through a wall / beat my ass in taijutsu / gets SO HIGHKEY ( if he says feisty she’ll string him up by his guts maybe he’s not taking that chance ... yet ) when she’s teased / etc. ”  --- because he worries about the consequences lmfao.

that said,  he loves it when somebody ( especially women ) benchpress his weight.   there’s just something utterly epic about it.   pure joy.

ramen.   ngl.   he loves him some good ol’ fashioned noODLESOUP HMMM ---

stretching.   stretching is so good hn ggng hg gngh  ... . ..

researching with a chill beat in the bg ( not necessarily actually chill ).

figuring out a way or ways to deal with life,  that really does make him happier.

spending time with itachi.

chilling on a rooftop under the moon.

tea.

getting scratched.   like.   you know what i’m talking about. but also scritches.   kami,  scritch e s .. ...  u g h.

gentle physical affection from anyone welcome will often please.

when people he loves / cares for / trusts / looks up to / who he just wants to take care of --- let him do that.   he loves being nice to people.

he also loves being an arse to people,  though usually in a playful && / or sassy sense.   banter.   light banter,  && winning some less friendly varieties is also good.

beating the shit out of - or.  well.  decking ppl in the face when they’re being gross && / or creepy at women / girls / boys / men / w/e really.   he especially,  especially delights in this.

whining.   letting him whine at u is also fun.  u can just go hmhm  oh ?  yeah  is that so  && u don’t have to take it seriously but u gotta.   u g o t t a .  indulge him.

being indulged in general.

all your body .  your fear is in your head ,  heart ,  hands ,  legs .  it sets your internal organs ,  muscles and your entire being on fire .  your adrenaline goes up ;  the risk is obvious but you won't go down without a fight .  hot blood travels quickly to all the parts of your body ,  preparing them for action .  all you think about is the problem before you and its solution .  your senses are sharpened ,  your heart is gonna jump out of the chest .  your body is trembling ,  your feverish brain  --  galloping .  you'll fight until the end .  you'll get out of this .  for a magical moment ,  your fear becomes strength and bravery .

the  mirror .    what do you see today ?  better yet, what don’t you see today ?  probably the same as yesterday, right ?  everything at once and nothing at all .  you know the face looking back at you enough to know that it is not your own , whatever that means .  you’ve learned by now that your face is irrelevant ,  one that takes a backseat to the ones that come to you every day ,  asking you to show them lies .  you don’t ,  of course ,  you are an amalgamation of all the faces looking back at you ,  a reflection of themselves .  there is nothing but truth in that .  don’t take it too personally ,  then ,  when they scream in your face and take off running .  you show them what they show you: who they are .  it’s something you can relate to, isn’t it ?  not being able to confront yourself face-to-face .

lack of an official insignia upon the letter … bizarre.

the reasoning becomes clear once the content of the letter is read and truth be told, it does catch her by surprise. well, it is not as if such letter is common practice between nobility. 

is it not ?

should there be some sort of meaning she should catch behind those written words ?

in a single breath, her body relaxes in the comfort of the big armchair, the letter yet to be free from her grasp. to think of a decision, that would be a task for another time.
