i think counter-starters are underrated. situations where you wrote a starter for someone and it didn’t quite work out or they had something else in mind or they want to toss a couple of different ideas around and see what sticks, so they write you a counter-starter (like a counter-offer) and you just figure out what works. counter-starters are underrated

No thoughts but you remind me of a small but cozy living room with dark wooden floors decorated with natural wood and things like tapestries and handmade blankets in shades of green and a bit of orange. In one corner I envision a floor to ceiling bookshelf with your favorite novels and trinkets lining the shelves with a little circular table next to it with a goldfish bowl, and there’s a window that faces west on the other side of the bookshelf, and every evening the setting sun bathes the room in soft golden light. The couch is plush and comfortable, the coffee table has a bowl of your favorite fruit and fun magazines, there’s a record player that softly hums your favorite songs, and you are safe and content in your little slice of the world
