”Mom does not understand what these Noxian clothes are. What does the drip mean?”
Why is that you can be sure about Niall's relationship with Amelia but not Harry's? What is it that influences your decision to judge their personal lives differently? Because it is you who chooses to judge them differently. For what reason?
That's an interesting question - and the main thing it makes me think is that I expressed myself too certainly when it comes to Niall and Amelia. Because of course I'm not sure - I barely pay attention.
I find it a bit odd that you talk about this as judging people's personal lives. To me that suggests evaluating something as good or bad and having the possibility of condemning. I am very much a Niall song that I hate the music videos for in this case.
The reasons that I think it's very likely that Amelia and Niall are actually together include: the way it began and the different patterns Niall has for relationships with different people. If I paid more attention I might have more thoughts.

I am beginning to think he’s right.

Amelia perched on his workbench, her legs swinging as she watched him work on a new project. "When someone loves someone else, they get married, right?"
Harry looked up, staring at her, eyes wide, “... Historically, yes.”
”In fact, I was secretly pleased that Nefret found most of the young men she met boring. She was a very wealthy young woman, so it was no wonder she always had a string of admirers trailing after her. Most were well-bred idlers, interested in only sport and frivolity and attracted to Nefret for the wrong reasons—her fortune or her beauty. She had much more to offer than that, and I was determined she should not marry until she found a man worthy of her—a man who shared her interests and respected her character, who loved her for her intelligence and independence, her sensitive nature and quick wit; a man of honor and intellectual understanding, but one who was not devoid of the physical characteristics that attract a handsome young woman. A man, in short, like Emerson!"
