Chi stood there, awkwardly, for a moment, before she slowly raised her hands up to about chest level and shifted her weight from foot to foot... before turning bright red and took a large step back, “T-there! I danced!”

There was a moment where she stared at him, literally unable to comprehend what he had said at this particular period in time.

Helena narrowed her eyes and snapped a foot out towards his chest, fury adding a modicum of unnecessary force into the action.

In which Chi deals with some more magical(?!) stuff

-Chi watches the woman dance around (and don’t she make that phrase rather more literal than usual) as the fight rages around him. He is definitely not getting paid enough to deal with any of this. In fact, right this very moment? He’s not getting paid AT ALL. To quote something he heard on Earth, he is very much not in Kansas any more.-

“Lady, if you can get me out’a this then you got yourself an ally!”

“I’ll do all the talking, you just stand there and look pretty.”

-Chi blinks, then cranes his neck to look at her with an incredulous look on his face.-

"I'm sorry, did I hear that right? Or did you wanna rephrase that."
