I also wanted to ask whether I’m the only one who hears “Johnny” instead of “darling” in the last lines of the song “Oh! Darling.”

I listened to the song several times at different moments, and in all the other cases I clearly hear “darling,” but only the very last time it sounds like “Johnny” instead.

English isn’t my native language, and I couldn’t find any information about this.

Literally the other day I was playing Oh! Darling, and a friend of mine (who has no idea about mclennon and doesn’t know almost anything about the Beatles beyond their music) said, “Wait a minute, did he just say Johnny?” When you listen to the finished track, yes, it might sound like that. But honestly, when I hear the isolated vocals version, it does sound like he says darlin’, especially the first two times. The third and fourth ones are more ambiguous, because he really stresses the D almost making it sound like a J. It kind of sounds like a mix between John and darlin’. Maybe it was intentional, or maybe not. I don’t think he would have straight-up sung “Oh Johnny” in front of Geoff Emerick and whoever else was in the studio every morning he came to record it. But maybe the reason it sounds so ambiguous is because the inspiration behind the song was in Paul’s mind when he was singing it. Regardless of whether it’s Johnny or darling, I still think the song has to do with John. Not regarding him leaving the band, because Paul wrote the song in late 1968/early 1969, but because of that feeling (that Paul himself talked about) of feeling left out by John after he was with Yoko (and how John himself framed it many times, as him leaving Paul for Yoko). The same feeling that he admitted spurred him into marriage. I don’t think every line of the song has to be literal, but the essence behind it feel very real. I could imagine John telling Paul something like to “I don’t need you anymore,” or "I no longer want to be with you" (even if deep down he didn't really mean it) and maybe that’s where that line "when you told me you didn't need me anymore..." came from. What I think supports this most is the fact that Paul likes to pretend this song doesn’t exist: he never talks about it, didn’t include it in the Lyrics book, and never sings it at his live shows—maybe because it’s too painful and reminds him of that difficult time in his relationship with John. Anyways, here are the four times he says darlin’, with the isolated vocals. Personally, I think the third and fourth are the ones that sound the closest to “Oh Johnny!” (especially the fourth one, as you said), though I still don't think it's 100% clear and definitive:
