“Don’t you want to wear something more comfortable?” Hob asked, a small frown on his face as Dream slipped into his pajamas. Or at least, what he used as pajamas. Unlike the soft, ragged sweatpants Hob had pulled on, Dream squeezed himself into a pair of black, lace-lined shorts that were technically shapewear. The waist cut into his skin to conceal the miniscule, but still there, bit of flesh on his lower stomach. His shirt had a scoop neckline that was also lined with lace, rough and itchy but complementing his sharp collar bones in a way he was been told was appealing. He looks down at himself self-consciously, mumbling, “This is more comfortable than it looks.” Hob shrugged, “If you’re sure.”  Dream hates lying. Hates that he has somehow deceived Hob into loving him.  “Are you still wearing makeup?” Hob furrowed his brow as he settled into his bed. Their bed, now, he supposes. “Shouldn’t you take that off before bed?” “It’s fine,” Dream waved him off, “It doesn’t bother my skin or anything.” Humming, Hob shrugged again, then grinned as he leaned forward to kiss him, “Goodnight,” he rubbed their noses together affectionately, “I can’t believe I get to wake up next to you every day.” Dream couldn’t believe it either. Maybe he was a terrible person for tricking Hob like this. But as he laid his head on Hob’s chest, feeling his arm wrap around his back to hold him close, he think he would do far worse things to get to keep this.

Hob is ― yep, going to go insane. Completely certifiable, as he closes his eyes and tries not to think about―"Hob," Dream says into his ear, and Hob wonders why Dream hasn't moved, has in fact, just stayed right near him, a light, constant press against his cock.

"And why haven't you? Did you leave your sand at the Dreaming?" At this, Dream lets out a horrible sound, like a misaligned machine cogs ― which he soon recognizes as laughter, and Hob goes stiff ― his spine, that is, as Dream's head rests onto his shoulder. His cock, is also still hard as he feels Dream's body, a knee starting to push into his thighs. 

"I have my reasons," Dream's answer, of course, reveals nothing and Hob groans. 

"Naturally," he mumbles, trying to move around Dream's form ― which he's sure wasn't as all-encompassing as before, as he tries to get to the door. Eventually he gets his hand on the doorknob, jiggling it and, yep, still locked. There's a particular feeling against his cock and he jumps, as much as he can. "What?" He wheezes. 

"Like I said. I do have my reasons," Dream reiterates, and Hob's breath leaves him as he recognises a hand reaching into his pants ― Dream's hand.
