ZINE COUNSELING NOW AVAILABLE
Aren't sure what's "gritty" about the city? Want to contribute to Oh Hamilton! zine, but aren't sure you have anything unique to say, want to know if your drawings are okay?
We want to work with you at any stage of your submission creation for Oh Hamilton! #2.
Here are testimonials from satisfied artists:
"I wasn't sure I was pretty enough to be in a zine, but then I thought, why not just submit my modelling photos anyways?" Golly, Gore Park Pigeon
"I had a really bad rep, for a long time. And I'd been getting so much negative publicity in the city. Oh Hamilton! zine really helped me get out what I had to say. Mostly, that we just really want people to sleep tight, but that's not the stereotype." Bernard, Bed Bug
Free Zine Counseling is now available!

The issue for us is not whether a community should change but how change can be introduced into a lived environment without it ignoring the imaginings or ruining the lives and culture of those who have long lived in a particular neighbourhood. With this in mind, we are less interested in the question, “what is it about the city of Hamilton that needs fixing?” and are instead preoccupied with the question “how do we go about unfixing the fixed images of the city, particularly of those who are imagined to live the lives of those fixed images?”
