secret: What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

June is an addict, and she has never been able to allow herself to enjoy almost anything other than exy, because she knows joy from almost anywhere else is bound to destroy her in just a couple of minutes. On the outside, to anyone else, she's this perfectly happy and content person, a ball of sunshine, a beacon of hope. On the inside, she holds herself back because she has so little self control she know she'll ruin her whole life in a second if she indulges. She doesn't drink, because her mom was an alcoholic, and when June was 16 she spent most nights blackout drunk because she didn't know when to stop. When her classmates in college were doing drugs in the bathroom at a party, she was watching them from a distance, knowing that the last time she snorted anything, she ended up in rehab at 19. She's addicted to pain, addicted to letting herself suffer, to bad sex and to worse people, addicted to all the other things a girl could possibly find herself depending too much on. She's been sober and clean since 21, but it's so dangerous for her to be around those kinds of things, because temptation has always been a killer for her. June can't tell anyone about it, because she doesn't know when she's going to slip up again, and having someone watch her go down a rabbit hole she can't get herself out of is her worst nightmare.
