Baldr licked his finger, turning the page delicately, barely acknowledging the Trickster at his back. The fire before him was warm, the chair comfortable, and the book interesting. There was no reason he could give to lift his eyes from the words to Loki.

But he knew to what his not-brother stared at. The open wall of the Briedablik's living room spilled out to the forest beyond, where the rain lashed down, relentless in it's fury as it pummelled the earth. In the distance thunder rumbled, a growl of dissent from the throats of the mountains, lightning crackling in the horizon of the tree line.

Loki only looked on, dumb-founded, as the black shirt was cruelly beaten by the wind, whiplashing against the rough bark of the oak as it fought against it's snagged. But Baldr had ensured it stayed firm, the hem driven deep into a crack in the high branch, so no wrath of the nature could steal it away.

''Well,'' the idly, pleasant voice corrected conversationally, ''Tony was wearing it when he came to see me. Something rectified rather quickly, if I remember right.''
