1.) favorite is a DIABOLICAL question. it's like pickin a favorite child. aough. ok. yall. lock in for like a million pictures. the boss 302 mustang, originally manufactured between 69 n 70 was one of the muscle cars on the later end of the spectrum. she was sleek n POWERFUL n easy to mod n had a nice lil v8 engine in her. she was actually designed for trans-am racin! a lot of muscle cars from the time that were built almost solely to participate in racin (specifically nascar) n also just HAPPENED to double as civilian cars too!!
my PERSONAL baby has gotta be the 1966 shelby cobra. Jesus christ almighty. she was sleek . she was tuff. she had a unique design that most muscle cars of the time were. well. look I love em. but they were kinda lackin. in 1966 she took the title of fastest factory car from the Pontiac of two years runnin. ALSO. look at these funky ass colors they came in. absolutely adore her. NO notes.
ofc I feel like I gotta throw in the stingray corvette if for no other reason them. well look at her. she was a stunner n a cruiser. (I mean you COULD drag her but. she was outpaced by the shelby n the Pontiac of her year.) also another popular example of the shift to fiberglass bodies that was introduced in. 1964? I think? which was originally a racin thing. lighter= faster. but also was a HUGE safety leap. lemme talk about somethin. real quick. any idiot who tells you 'ohhh fiberglass bodies are so bad n cheap n awful yack yack yack knows NOTHIN about physics nor cars. lemme put it this way. your car crumples when you hit somethin? you don't. if IT don't. well. somethin HAS to take the force of the impact. n uh. if it ain't the car. then. but anyhow I digress!! sorry!! bam the 1966 stingray

2.) I have NO idea where my unendin love for old cars came from!! truly one day I just turned around n went huh! why the hell do I know all this! n it was the culmination of like. 20 years of car knowledge. for no reason.
3.) GRRRR OLD CARS OLD CARS!!! I have an intense dislike for new cars. part of it is cause car companies stopped havin fuckin FUN!!! the engine craze of the early 60s!!! where a shit ton of companies were just. so invested in nascar for no fuckin reason!! THEY WERE WILLIN TO TAKE RISKS!! THEY WERENT AFRAID TO GET WACKY WITH IT!! I didn't even MENTION it but like jesus christ some of my favorite cars from the time we're the FREAKS!! the BEETLE BUGS!!! the VOLKS VANS!!! sighhhh. I miss old cars man. they just don't get wacky with it anymore :(
