how sawyer had been coping with the virus could be summarised into three words :     not at all. it’d kept her attention for a few weeks time but the slow progression combined with her busy schedule caused a fall off the wagon. nothing ever seemed to change and so check - ins became fewer and farther between … until now. 

                         ❛     i’m serious !  i’m cutting out all meat … i mean, i’ve always wanted to become a vegetarian anyways, this was just the final, totally unexpected push.     ❜

there’d been ANOTHER attempt five or so years ago and she’d barely made it to lunch. who’d known deli meats were such a vital part to her every day ?

                         ❛     but when, and i say when because i will, i start crying for chicken tenders this time next week … i give you permission to slap me. right across the face. hard as you can.     ❜

“Okay, ladies.” Cammie comes up to the blondes with her lasso in one hand and the Dare List in the other. “I’ve got the rope, who’s got the victim? Because we are not letting this lasso go to waste. I’ve had at least three jocks throw the ‘will you tie me up’ line on me--” And some variation of a cowgirl riding joke. “--and there’s only so many times I can roll my eyes before I actually do it to one of them, so please: let’s actually tie someone up now. Preferably a jock.” She shimmies her shoulders. “Victims, victims, victims, let’s go. And also game plan, obviously, because while we do have numbers, it’s so hard to back someone close enough to a post with the list being out.”

it had been a while since scarlett and anne had properly hung out one on one and with prom coming up soon, scar thought she ought to change that with a shopping trip for after-prom outfits. after picking her fellow bee up on this fine saturday morning, scar snavels up the first available car spot before hoping out on the main street. “i know exactly where we’re going to first.” the girl states, smirking to herself in pure satisfaction as she waits for anne on the path. “you trust me, right?” she asks rhetorically, rather looking forward to seeing the look on anne’s face when she realises just what shop she’s taking her to first. there’s no way she was going to let her girl turn up to the after party in something she deems innocent. “just think, we are going to look hot and classy as fuck after prom after this.”

After quietly observing, Wolfgang made his self known as he leaned casually against one of the desks in the lab. “Well, well, well. I should’ve known you had something shady to do with this. Are you looking to cover up your own tracks on handwriting or tips on an alibi, Anne?”

“Anne?” She’d gone back and forth on doing this. Cady wasn’t a paranoid person. And, being a teenager in a public school meant she wasn’t immune to teasing or pranks, either. She was willing to let it be just that, but... on the day of the assembly, after getting her own note, Cady had quietly witnessed Anne in the hallway looking spooked and furiously tearing something from her locker. On the door in the same place where Cady’s note had been. She wanted to believe it was just a coincidence but she’d always been taught on the side of caution to know there was no such thing. “Can I ask you something?”
