yeah and i mean, pretty much every serious tsh meta that i’ve read acknowledges the characters’ faults in some respect. i think people do get it, even if it’s not talked about 100% of the time.
Exactly! Like, obviously joking posts, or random musing don't always touch on it, but I've never seen a meta that claims they're objectively good, or idyllic role models even once. And tbh how boring a community would it be if we literally only talked about one thing anyway? Good lord, I'd never be in that fandom

lmao right, liking fictional characters as characters =/= liking them as people. nobody actually thinks that any of them are not terrible people. but they are interesting, which makes them good characters.
